So you could say crafting was on a back burner this past weekend as I spent a ton of time doing a whole lotta braids! This is my oldest...I have been braiding her hair since she was 2yrs old. So I suppose you could say I have a wee bit of practice. This time I didn't keep track but last time I did her hair we counted 243 braids and it took me 12hrs to do (and believe it or not I am quick). Her hair is super long and fairly thick. The nice thing about all this work is she can now leave it in for the next 2 months and just get up and go. I usually do both older girls hair like this in the summer, makes things so much easier for summer time fun!

I love her hair. What a job that was. But.....she look so darn cute.
Good grief! I can't imagine going thru all that work. Your poor fingers must be shot! Looks good though & I know it will be so much easier to take care of.
WOW! An amazing amount of work, but the results are beautiful!! Perfect for such a beautiful girl!!
huggs!
