~Rustic Paisley Frame~

Ohhh my gosh I just LOVE this paper! I was at the local scrapbook store (they have a ton of pattern paper), and when I saw this I knew it would be perfect for this frame. Not only that but the name of the paper was Rustic Gem Collection-Jade Paisley...my sister's name is Jade & we both love paisley! So how could I go wrong. She recently decided to surprise my girls with 2 DVD movies and a CD so I thought this would make a nice surprise back. Karra is their last name and for the inside I just cut out bits from the pattern paper that was left. I used my Cricut to cut her last name (luv my cricut), after the first coat of mod podge I sanded all the edges then applied the ink to the wood & edges, then put another coat of mod podge. I had a lot of fun making it. Next I am going to make one to go with my oldest daughters room;)

Supplies used:
paper trimmer
paper snips
snail adhesive
sponge
mod podge
paint brush
cranberry crisp classic ink
cranberry crisp card stock
Cranberry crisp stitched ribbon
Always artichoke marker
Cricut (with printing press cartridge)
sandpaper
plain wood frame
Rustic Gem Collection-Jade Paisley pattern paper

The picture really isn't doing it justice:(
