Not just Brownie cake....the best brownie cake ever!!!
I really couldn't tell you just how many recipes I have tried before this one but it was worth the wait. So now I am going to share it with all of you. Well first I had to share it with my family and Cindy & her family (which is why I made it tonight in the first place).
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup cooking oil
4 eggs
1/4 cup water
1 cup choc chips (you could use walnuts instead but I don't)
Put all ingredients in a bowl in order and mix on low speed till smooth. *I mix all but choc chips then add them last for a final mix. Bake in a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan at 350 deg F for 30 min. Test with tooth pick.
Now wouldn't ya just love an awsome icing recipe to put on top :)
1/4 cup soft butter or marg
2 cups icing
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp cream (I use milk, as I don't usually have cream on hand)
4 tbsp cocoa
mix till smooth & ice your brownies :)
Now if you look at my brownies part has sliced almonds and part doesn't. I think I like it better without to be honest but I had some & thought I'd try it. The part left out was for my littlest one who doesn't like almonds.
Enjoy, this is a fairly quick easy recipe & it is ohhh soooo yummy.....ohhhhh and if this doesn't give you your chocolate fix...well I am not sure what will.
Happy baking!

Yummo!! This is definitely a recipe I'm going to try! It was absolutely delicious.
YUM! Can't get chocolate chips over here (whatever!) but should certainly be able to make this with some amazing Belgian cocoa powder! Can't wait to try them!!!
And, you've now convinced me I need a cool watermark too, so I'm off to email Cindy!
Thanks for the chocolate! :-)
